Historic Yates Mill County Park | Raleigh, North Carolina
Raleigh offered park visitors an “Escape from the Daily Grind” this past weekend. This historic landmark sits on a 174-acre park in Wake County and is only located five miles from the downtown Raleigh. Tours and corn grinding takes place one weekend each month and provides a way to step back in time (circa 1756) with exhibits and a dedicated staff fully dressed in time period clothing. Great escape for families, children participation and a look at life from days gone by.
This is a photographers dream as it is filled with water, woods and nature. Perfect for family photos or high school photos.
